Fall has arrived at Walt Disney World and has brought with it a slew of new deals and discounts for guests looking to visit the parks as the temperatures begin to cool off and special events like Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party are in full swing.
If you are thinking about going to a Disney park in the near future (and especially if you are staying on property, an annual passholder or a Disney+ subscriber), here are some easy ways you can save some money that you should definitely know about before booking your next trip! Interestingly it looks like discounts targeted towards Florida residents have dwindled somewhat, but perhaps more deals for this group will be released next month.
1. Annual Passholder discount for merchandise increased for fall from 20% to 30%
From September 14 through October 14, Walt Disney World Annual Passholders will receive a 30% discount at all Disney-owned and operated locations across the theme parks, resorts, and Disney Springs, increased from the usual 20% discount. This discount includes limited-edition and 50th-anniversary merchandise.
Passholder must present a valid Annual Pass and valid photo identification at the point of purchase to receive the discount, and this currently only applies to Walt Disney World retail locations, and can not be used online. This discount also does not extend to third parties and Walt Disney World Resort Operating Participant locations.
2. Annual Passholder 25% off room rate now available for fall and holiday stays
Disney has also released a new Annual Passholder discount offer for Walt Disney World Resort hotel stays October 23 through December 25. The discounted room-only rate allows passholders to save up to a 25% on rooms and is available for most Walt Disney World Resort hotels.
Bookings are available now and passholder discounts can be used for a maximum of 14 nights. Passholders must present their Walt Disney World Annual Pass at check-in to use this discount and the number of rooms allocated for this offer is limited, so those who want to take advantage of this offer will want to make their reservations soon.
Additional per-adult charges may apply if more than 2 adults stay per room. Offer excludes the following room types: 3-bedroom villas, Cabins at Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, The Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Disney’s Art of Animation Resort – Little Mermaid Standard Rooms.
3. Disney Visa Cardmembers can save up to 30% on room only stays
Disney Visa cardholders can get up to 30% off room rates from now through September 19, 2022. There is no minimum stay length, and the discount varies by hotel. Bookings are available now, and the deposit must be paid for using the Disney Visa credit card. In addition, the cardholder must be one of the guests in the room.
4. Disney+ subscribers to get free PhotoPass photos on September 8 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
As part of its Disney+ Day festivities it has been announced that Disney+ subscribers can enjoy complimentary Disney PhotoPass photo downloads at select locations at Disney’s Hollywood Studios for this day only. Additional characters and cavalcades will be held that day as well, and Disney has announced an extended early entry window that will allow all Disney+ subscribers to enter 30 minutes before the park opens and all resort guests to enter an hour early.
Disney+ subscribers can also get hotel room discounts from now through September 30, with no minimum stay length. In order to book this discount, the reservation must be made with an email associated with a Disney+ subscription. Discounts vary from 10% off to 25% off depending on room type, and inventory for this deal is limited.
