Rumor – Huge Star Wars Expansion May Not Be Coming To Disneyland Paris After All

Originally Walt Disney Studios Park at Disneyland Paris Resort was set to get three IPs added as part of its massive €2.1 million multi-year expansion. However, there is now speculation that the planned Star Wars land may be off the cards.

This speculation has come about after an interview which was reported by Disneyphile, where the President of Disneyland Paris, Natacha Rafalski was asked a question about the proposed Star Wars land and the reply was “We are still working on the third theme. We will make announcements about this when we are ready.”

In the reply there was not even a mention of Star Wars which seems very strange, just the third theme which doesn’t sound very specific. There has been little news on the planned Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge for Walt Disney Studios Park since it was first announced back in 2018. This reluctance to comment on or mention Star Wars certainly doesn’t look good.

Avengers Campus is set to officially open on July 20, at Walt Disney Studios Park and ‘The Kingdom of Arendelle’ where guests will be able to step into Elsa and Anna’s ‘Frozen’ world is currently on schedule to open in 2023.
