Rumor – Parks Pass Reservation System To Change To Allow For Park Hopping

Firstly, please note this is a rumor and there has not been any official announcement from Disney regarding this.

There is an online rumor that Disney may be contemplating expanding the Parks Pass Reservation System to enable guests to choose a second park if they are wanting to Park Hop at Walt Disney World.

Park hopping is currently available at Walt Disney World but only after 2PM meaning guests book their first park through the Parks Pass Reservation system only and if they have a park hopper ticket can move to another park of their choice after 2PM.

If this rumored change was put in place, guests with the park hopper option would be able to book a second park through the Parks Pass Reservation system and could then enter that park earlier than the current 2PM window.

Now, this in theory could work, especially as the 2PM window for park hoppinig has frustrated many Disney fans but it would also add an extra layer of booking and pre-planning to an already somewhat stressful system.
