UPDATE February 15 – It has now appeared on the My Disney Experience app that the popular Figment popcorn bucket is no longer available to purchase because it is currently sold out. With the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts set to finish on February 21 it may leave guests wondering whether there will be another opportunity to purchase this sought after merchandise. It would make sense for Disney to continue to stock this hugely popular item but there hasn’t been any confirmation of this as of yet.
The EPCOT International Festival of the Arts kicked off on Friday January 14, 2021 and it wasn’t the amazing array of cuisine or performers there was on offer that got guests fired up, it was a popcorn bucket! This lucrative popcorn bucket was available at the Pop Eats location just outside Port Entry.
Guests had to get in line at the stand in order to purchase one of these much sought after Figment popcorn buckets. The line at one point was reported as being over seven hours long. As soon as they became available to purchase they instantly appeared on sites such as Ebay with huge mark ups as much as $200.
Unsurprisingly a sign appeared outside Pop Eats on January 17, saying that the item was completely sold out. The Figment popcorn bucket has been restocked and it is now available to purchase once more at EPCOT.
You will be pleased to hear that guests won’t have to wait in line to purchase the Figment popcorn bucket but instead will have to use the My Disney Experience app to order. Simply open up the app and type in Figment Premier Popcorn Bucket and it should appear for you to click on and purchase.
There is still a week left to enjoy The EPCOT International Festival of the Arts which runs until February 21, 2022 and showcases the arts with entertainment and performances around the park along with cuisine through a range of foods from around the world which are available at Festival food Studios across EPCOT.
