Who doesn’t love to collect cool souvenirs from Walt Disney World? Well, it has been announced that as part of the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary celebrations guests will be able to get their hands on a range of new collectibles.
50th Anniversary-themed pressed coins, medallions and personalized tags are now all available at Walt Disney World. The coins depict favorite Disney characters and can be seen in the photo below as well as photos of the range of medallions and personalized tags for fans to enjoy collecting.
There are now new digital machines located around the Walt Disney World parks which are filled with shiny new coins and which accept credit/debit cards, Apple Pay and Google Wallet as well as cash. However, for guests wanting to enjoy the traditional experience, hand crank machines are still available at select locations.
Coin Press machines can be found using the magnifying glass at the bottom of the screen in My Disney Experience Mobile App. Simply type in “coin press machine” then select find on map.
