One of the best perks of staying on property at Universal Orlando Resort is being able to enjoy Universal Studios Florida or Universal’s Islands of Adventure up to one (1) hour prior to park opening and Universal’s Volcano Bay thirty (30) minutes prior to usual opening.
Universal has announced on their website that as of January 3 through February 28, 2022 one of Universal’s Islands of Adventure’s most popular attractions, Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure will only operate during regular park hours meaning resort guests will not be able to ride it during the early park admission time, one hour prior to park opening. This is a major blow as this attraction usually has consistently long wait times.
The following attractions will continue to be open during early park admission at Universal’s Islands of Adventure:
- Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey™
- Flight of the Hippogriff™
- Jurassic World VelociCoaster
- Ollivanders™
Unfortunately for Universal resort guests, between Jan 3 – 27 there won’t be any available attractions open during early park admission at Universal Studios with Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts™ and Despicable Me Minion Mayhem™ currently listed as being open during early park admission Jan 28-29, 2022.
