Walt Disney World currently has three pages of jobs listed on their jobs page and it is confirmed that for certain roles they are offering $1000-$1500 Hiring bonuses.
It appears they are having difficulty filling vital culinary roles as well as jobs in bus transportation, housekeeping and custodial. Alongside various sign-on hiring bonuses, Disney is also offering cast members the opportunity in certain cases of receiving a referral bonus for those who successfully recruit a new employee. These bonuses are between $500 and $1000.
Starting rates for the current available posts appear to be between $14-$20/hour depending on the position and full and part time roles are on offer.
It is imperative that Walt Disney World have enough cast members to fill all the roles needed especially as the 50th Anniversary celebrations are in full swing and the holiday season is now upon us.
