UPDATE: When Fantasmic reopens next year it will have an additional segment featuring new characters, water effects, and stunt performers
Walt Disney World entertainment has been slowly building back up since the summer 2020 reopening of Walt Disney World, and now it looks like two of the resort’s heaviest hitters have been confirmed to be returning in 2022: Fantasmic! at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and the Festival of Fantasy parade at the Magic Kingdom.
No specific dates have been confirmed for the return of these two entertainment options, but hopefully, we will hear more in the new year about when exactly guests will be able to enjoy Fantasmic and Festival of Fantasy once again.
In addition to Walt Disney World’s returning entertainment, over at the Disneyland Resort, it was also confirmed that World of Color and Fantasmic! will be returning next year as well, along with the “Main Street Electrical Parade,” which will return in time to celebrate its 50th anniversary.
