Earlier this month Universal Orlando resort removed the mask mandate for all outdoor areas of the resort, but added the caveat that guests would will still have to wear a mask in all indoor locations. However, it looks like that policy is now being phased out, as starting Saturday, May 29, wearing a mask indoors will be optional for guests who are fully vaccinated.
Guests who are not fully vaccinated are required to continue wearing a mask indoors, but Universal is not requiring guests to provide proof of vaccination.
Right now it looks like the only COVID-19 safety measure that is still in effect is capacity caps, though Universal has not disclosed what their current capacity limit is. However, all other safety measures, including mandatory masks, physical distancing, spaced out seating, and temperature checks have now been brought to an end at the resort.
