Though the Disneyland Resort is only accessible to in-state California visitors right now, it looks like that is about to change very quickly as Disney has announced that beginning June 15, 2021, they will once again be able to welcome guests from outside the state of California back to their theme parks.
Like at Walt Disney World, to enter a theme park at the Disneyland Resort all guests (ages 3 and older) need to have both a ticket and theme park reservation for the same park on the same date. Fortunately, Disneyland now has a system that allows guests to purchase theme park tickets at the same time they make park reservations so they can ensure that they have access to the theme parks before traveling.
This is great news for those who want to visit the upcoming Avengers Campus land, which will also be opening next month on June 4, 2021. However, it is important to note that guests who want to experience the brand new WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure will also need to secure a virtual queue reservation as well to experience this new attraction. You can read more about how this system will work here.
As is the case at all other California theme parks, guests at Disneyland Resort will need to wear face masks during the duration of their stay and will need to practice social distancing during their visit as well. The latest details to know before you visit the theme parks can be found at Disneyland.com/Updates.
