Universal Orlando have announced via their twitter account that a new Jurassic World Tribute Store will be coming soon to Universal Studios Florida.
The Tribute Store entrance is complete and a board simply saying “Coming Soon” is stood outside. The store is situated near to the Revenge of the Mummy Ride. As of yet no official details or opening date have been announced but we are expecting that it will be open in time for the busy Summer season.
The Tribute Store is a concept that Universal Orlando has now used for a number of years and accompanies many of their annual events. The Halloween Horror Nights Tribute Store that popped up at the end of July 2020 and continued to expand with extra rooms throughout the Summer proved extremely popular with guests remaining for a lengthy three months. This Tribute Store was particularly important in 2020 when the official Halloween Horror Nights event had to be cancelled due to COVID-19 health and safety guidelines that were in place.
Jurassic World seems like the obvious choice for a Tribute Store this Summer as we all look forward to the official opening of the highly anticipated Jurassic World VelociCoaster at Islands of Adventure which has now began technical rehearsal soft opening.
