Disney Announces Disney College Program To Return In June

Back in April 2020 Disney announced that all Walt Disney World Disney Internships & Programs were being cancelled, and the next wave of the Disney College Program was also officially cancelled. These were very uncertain times, as all Disney theme parks across the globe were closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and reopening schedules were still unclear.

Disney then announced that applications were being accepted for the fall iterations of both the Norway Cultural Representative Program and Germany Cultural Representative Program at Epcot’s World Showcase. Positions were scheduled to start between August and November 2020.

In December 2020 Disney confirmed that they had not recruited participants for the upcoming semesters as part of their ongoing College Program and plans were still uncertain about when they would resume this popular option for young adults.

This week Disney has finally announced that the Disney College Program will return in June. For the College Program participants who were either sent home early in 2020 due to COVID-19 or for those who had places confirmed and were due to start are being given priority and have been asked to reapply first. Those in this position should check their email for further details.

For anyone else who is interested in signing up for the Disney College Program, further details regarding eligibility and how to apply can be found here.
