Bright Blue Lights On VelociCoaster Trains Seen During Night Testing

It is certainly no secret how excited we are here at Theme Park Tourist about the highly anticipated upcoming VelociCoaster at Universal’s Islands of Adventure.

There has already been lots of coverage online of the daytime testing being done over the last couple of months on VelociCoaster. This week, a video has been posted from ThrillGeek of the nighttime testing. The video is embedded below:

As you can see, in the dark the train’s cars are lit with bright blue lights which give an amazing spectacle as the train glides around the track. Guests are in for a thrilling ride as they traverse the top hat element, barrel roll, launches and a host of twists and turns as riders embark on a high-speed chase, feeling the rush of the hunt while racing alongside a nimble Velociraptor pack. There has also been a new video posted by Orlando Experience showing footage of further testing of VelociCoaster which is embedded below:

For those of you who are interested, Bioreconstruct posted an aerial image of VelociCoaster last week which shows the track after the first launch. The greenery and rockwork now appears established and has softened the concrete supports and creates the perfect backdrop and theming for this ride based on the Jurassic World series of films. The tweet is embedded below:
