Though all eyes are on Walt Disney World in 2021 for the Orlando Resort’s 50th anniversary Disneyland Paris is coming up on its 30th anniversary in 2022 and Disney has announced that the iconic Sleeping Beauty Castle will be getting a massive refurbishment in 2021 to prepare for the big event! Much of the castle’s facade and exterior components will be replaced, and while all this work is being done, the castle will be covered in a massive themed tarp, which you can see in the video below:
In addition to the refreshed look for the castle, Disneyland Paris has also shared additional details about Cars Route 66 Road Trip, which is set to debut in 2021 at Walt Disney Studios Park, taking over the former Studio Tram Tour. This attraction, inspired by Cars, will transport guests on a picturesque road trip adventure, as reimagined by Pixar. You can learn more about this upcoming attraction below:
Though Disneyland Paris is still closed due to local restrictions in the country of France, it looks like the resort is gearing up to have a great 2021 and beyond.
