This festive season is different in so many ways at theme parks across the world due to COVID-19. Ringing in the new year is the same, with each theme park having to think very carefully about the event they are hosting.
If you are looking to celebrate the New Year at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, you have two options for New Year’s Eve. Busch Gardens Tampa is offering two reservation sessions:
- 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- 6:00 PM – 1:00AM
The 9am – 5pm event gives guests the chance to experience their favorite thrill rides, animal encounters, select elements of Christmas Town (with the Christmas Town Village opening at 1pm) and Elmo’s Christmas Wish.
If you are wanting to be at Busch Gardens Tampa for the evening event from 6pm- 1am then for your admission price you can experience the Christmas Town favorites including the Three Kings Journey show as well as millions of lights in the park. Also included in the night admission price is the 7pm Christmas on Ice show.
Here is where it gets slightly complicated, if you are wanting to view the Spark the Night Fireworks Show from the Festival Field at either the 8.30pm or 11.30pm showing, you must book a separate reservation for this. Prices for reserving a spot on the Festival Field to view the firework display starts from $6.99 and can be booked here.
For those guests not wanting to reserve tickets for the Festival Field, you have the opportunity of viewing the Spark the Night Firework display from many locations around the park.
For full details and to purchase tickets for the New Years Eve daytime or evening event with prices starting from $95.99, visit Busch Gardens Tampa Bay’s official site.
