2021 Reopenings Set for Disney’s Wilderness Resort, Beach Club Resort, & More

Though Walt Disney World’s Theme Parks have been open since July, the resort has been taking a phased approach to its hotels, with the resort opening a few at a time as capacity and demand allows. And now it looks like three more hotels will be reopening during the first half of next year, including the following:

    • Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort reopening for arrivals beginning March 22
    • Disney’s Beach Club Resort reopening for arrivals beginning May 30
    • Disney’s Wilderness Lodge reopening for arrivals beginning June 6.

Of note is the All-Star Movies reopening date, as this hotel had previously set a February 9, 2021 reopening date earlier this year, but it looks like that has been pushed back. Guests with affected reservations will receive assistance to modify or reschedule as needed.

Absent from the reopening list is Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, which is currently closed for refurbishment, and is targeting a “Summer 2021” reopening. Also missing are several still resorts, including the Port Orleans Resort (both French Quarter and Riverside), Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, and both the Music and Sports sections of the All-Star value resorts.

As Disney continues its phased reopening, guests can check out the official Disney website here for more information on hotel reopening plans and what is (and isn’t available) for those planing a trip in the near future.
