Walt Disney World Theme Parks Extend Hours for New Year’s Eve

One of the busiest days of the year at Walt Disney World has always been the week of New Year’s and though capacity caps will still be in place this year, it looks like the resort is still expecting to see big crowds to turn up as a result of the holiday, with all four parks extending hours on December 31st. In addition to the late hours on New Year’s Eve, most theme parks are also opening earlier most days in December, and Disney Springs will be open later this holiday season as you can see in the newly updated below:

    Magic Kingdom

    • December 6, 11-13, 18-19: 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM
    • December 7-10, 14-17: 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM
    • December 31: 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM

    EPCOT

    • December 31: 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM

    Disney’s Hollywood Studios

    • December 6-19: 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM
    • December 31: 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM

    Disney’s Animal Kingdom

    • December 4-6, 11-13, 18-19: 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM
    • December 7-10, 14-17: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
    • December 31: 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM

    Disney Springs

    • November 23 – December 31 2020: 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM

Of course, even with these new hours, it looks like no Walt Disney World theme parks will be open at the strike of midnight, but we’d guess there will be some kind of celebration at Disney resorts as on-property guests ring in the new year.
