New Haunt Experience the ‘Tunnel Of The Damned’ Coming This Year To I-Drive

For many people Halloween is a highlight of the year and with the unfortunate cancelling of Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights event in replace of a modified daytime offering, for most this just isn’t going to cut it.

Do not despair all is not lost, there is a brand new haunt experience coming to the Orlando Forum of Fear which is located 6362 International Drive. The ‘Tunnel Of The Damned’ is a haunted maze designed by two former creators of scare mazes at Halloween Horror Nights, Patrick Braillard and Kim Gromoll.

The maze winds along 480 feet of non-stop scares and thrills with 20 masked actors taking on numerous terrifying and horrifying roles to ensure no one should emerge completely unscathed.

Tickets for this new haunt event are currently available to be purchased from eventbrite for dates October 1 – 31, 2020. The tickets and costs are listed as:

  • One time pass – $17.95 + $2.72 Fee
  • Day Pass – $24.95 + $3.15
  • Season Pass – $69.95 + $5.89

The website states that during the season, which we assume is the four week period of October, the maze will start as the ‘Tunnel Of The Damned’ and will then transform to the ‘City Overtaken’ and will then end with the ‘Apocalypse’. The aim of this is to try to keep the experience fresh so guests can come back for repeat visits. For those who really want to make the most of the scares this year the season ticket is available to buy.

Unsurprisingly, this event is recommended for guests aged 13 and over and the website certainly builds up the suspense and tension, tempting you in by saying:

“As you stand at the edge of the tunnel you fear that you may become lost. As you gaze forward and hear something screeching just beyond your field of vision, you understand that you may never return. But as you stare into the light emanating from the darkened passageway you know one thing is certain.

The only way out is through.”

If you decide to visit the ‘Tunnel Of The Damned’ this season on I-Drive in Orlando, let us know all about your experience by leaving us a comment below or on our Facebook page.

For those of you who love to head to any halloween scare maze event that is on offer, Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay kicks off on September 25 with ten mazes, including four brand new ones to experience.
