The Muppets Present…Great Moments in History had been a fixture of Liberty Square since it debuted back in 2016, but when this Magic Kingdom fan favorite was cancelled earlier this year, guests were shocked. However, it looks like the Muppets will return to the Magic Kingdom at least for a little while this holiday season.
The Muppets are back… for a very limited time!
It was announced earlier this week that The Muppets Present…Great Moments in History will once again be performed across from the Hall of Presidents at the Heritage House building daily during the holiday season from December 23 to December 31. Here’s the schedule:
- All days except Christmas Day: 9:05 AM, 9:50 AM, 10:25 AM, 11:05 AM, 12:50 PM, 1:20 PM, 2:05 PM, 3:50 PM, and 4:20 PM.
- Christmas Day: 8:35 AM, 9:05 AM, 9:35 AM, 10:05 AM, 11:50 AM, 12:20 PM, 12:50 PM, 1:20 PM, 2:50 PM, and 3:20 PM.
This is the first time this show has been performed since October, and while it looks like guests will only have seven days to see these beloved characters act out some of the most iconic moments in American history, hopefully if this now-seasonal offering is popular enough, maybe it will return again during other high-traffic periods at the resort.
