Summer is winding down at Walt Disney World and though guest levels are still high, there are plenty of deals available for room stays, special event tickets, food and more.
If you are thinking about going to a Disney park in the near future (and especially if you are staying on property, an annual passholder or Florida Resident), here are some easy ways you can save some money that you should definitely know about!
1. Discounted hotel rates available for Florida residents and Disney+ subscribers
Special rates at Walt Disney World Resort hotels are now available for Florida residents for stays on most nights from now through September 8. These discounts can save guests up to 30% and there is no minimum stay requirement. Interestingly, Disney is also offering a deal for Disney+ subscribers where they can save up to 25% on stays at select hotels, on the same dates.
Some of the hotels offering discounts include All-Star Movies, Music and Sports, Disney’s Art of Animation, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, BoardWalk Inn, and the Contemporary Resort. More information is available at the official Walt Disney World website here.
The number of rooms allocated for these offers are limited and additional per-adult charges may apply if more than 2 adults stay per room. Offer excludes the following room types: 3-bedroom villas, Cabins at Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, The Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Disney’s Art of Animation Resort – Little Mermaid Standard Rooms.
2. Annual Passholders and DVC Memberc can save $10 off tickets for Mickey’s Not-so-Scary Halloween Party and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party now available
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas party are returning this year for the first time since 2019, and tickets are on sale right now. Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members who log in to their My Disney Experience account to purchase Tickets can save some money with discount tickets.
Discounts for Mickey’s Not-so-Scary Halloween Party are $10 per ticket for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party for all event nights up to October 7, when the discount becomes unavailable due to peak attendance.
Annual Passholders and DVC Members can also get $10 off their tickets for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party on select nights in November and early December.
3. Florida residents can save on multi-day tickets
Florida residents wanting to visit Walt Disney World can save 40% on 4-Day Tickets and 30% on 3-Day Tickets compared to the non-Florida Resident price of a 3-Day or 4-Day Ticket. Tickets can be used on non-consecutive days, but must be used within a one-week period. No single-day discounts are currently available for Florida Residents.
4. On-site guests and annual passholders can save on MagicBand+ devices
MagicBand+ is coming to Walt Disney World later this month, and though this new wearable costs $34.99. for regular guests, Disney has confirmed that Annual Passholders and resort guests will be eligible for pre-arrival discounts on these new devices. No official price has been released but going by history annual passholders will likely receive a 10% discount, with resort guests seeing similar savings.
5. Discounts available for select seating at Cirque du Soleil Drawn to Life
Florida Residents, Disney Vacation Club Members and Walt Disney World Annual Passholders can purchase specially priced tickets for Cirque du Soleil’s Drawn to Life show at Disney Springs. Discounts range from $12 to $15 and apply to category 2 and category 3 seating on select dates now through October 1. Discounted tickets may be purchased online from Cirque du Soleil or at the box office at Disney Springs.
6. Annual passholders and Florida resident discount now available at Swan and Dolphin
Walt Disney World annual passholders save Up to 30% off regular rates at the Swan and Dolphin hotels. To take advantage of this deal passholders can call 1-888-828-8850 and ask for the promotional Annual Passholder Rate. Guests can also book online and use promotional code QWH in the Corporate/Promo code box to get this deal. Valid/current Disney Annual Pass is required at check-in to receive this offer.
If you are not an annual passholder but are a Florida resident, you can get almost the exact same deal with the promotional code Florida Resident Rate when reserving a room by phone or by using code FR6 in the Corporate/Promo code box when booking online. Valid Florida Resident ID required at check-in to receive this offer, which does not currently have an expiration date.
Guests 62 years or older can also save up to 25% on room rates as part of a special Seniors discount. To redeem this deal use promotional code Senior Citizen Rate when reserving a room by phone or by using code S9r in the Corporate/Promo code box when booking online. Valid ID showing age required at check-in to receive this offer.
7. Annual passholder discount now available at D-Luxe Burger
Annual Passholders can enjoy a 20% discount at D-Luxe Burger in Disney Springs from now through August 31. This dining location serves classic burgers, fries, milkshakes, treats and more and can be found in the Town Center area of the shopping district. This discount is valid for the passholder and up to three guests, and does not include alcoholic beverages.
8. Discounts now available at Disney Springs hotels
Disney Springs Hotels have several discounts available for specific groups, including the following:
- Florida & Georgia deal: Residents of these states can save 15% off the best available room rate at all seven member hotels. Guests must book directly and show a valid Florida or Georgia driver’s license, or state-issued identification card, upon check-in.
- Military family rate: Both active and retired U.S. military personnel, including United States Coast Guard and activated members of the National Guard or Reservists, can enjoy up to 20% off at Disney Springs hotels.
- AAA membership: AAA discounts of varying amounts are available all seven Disney Springs hotels. Guests must show a valid AAA identification card, upon check-in.
