5 Price Hikes Quietly Going Into Effect at Walt Disney World in the Next Few Months

Price hikes and upcharge events have become an unfortunate reality of the modern landscape of Walt Disney World, and though Disney raised prices on annual passes and parking a few months ago, it looks like special events at the resort are about to get a LOT more expensive thanks to a brand new round of price hikes going in to effect over the next few months. 

1. Frozen Ever After Dessert Party at Epcot

Though Frozen fever has seemingly cooled for the moment (though it could pick up again this fall after Frozen 2 is released), the Frozen Ever After dessert party is still in full swing at Epcot, providing guests with the ability to ride this attraction after enjoying drinks, desserts, and the evening’s nighttime spectacular at the park. 

Currently, this experience costs $79 per adult (ages 10 and up); $47 per child (ages 3 to 9),but starting December 1, 2019 prices will go up to  $99 per adult (ages 10 and up); $59 per child (ages 3 to 9).

2. Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular Dessert Party at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

With renewed interest in Star Wars at Disney’s Hollywood Studios thanks to the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, this park will be raising the price of the Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular Dessert Party at this park. From now through the holidays, this offering will cost $79 per adult (ages 10 and up) and $45 per child (ages 3 to 9), but starting January 6, 2020 prices will rise to $89 per adult (ages 10 and up); $53 per child (ages 3 to 9). 

3. Rivers of Light: We Are One Dessert Party at Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Though most of these price hikes are happening in the next few months, the Rivers of Light: We Are One Dessert Party at Disney’s Animal Kingdom will be holding its current price until the end of January. Right now admission to this experience is $79 per adult (ages 10 and up) and  $47 per child (ages 3 to 9). However, Starting February 1, 2020 this experience will cost $89 per adult (ages 10 and up) and $53 per child (ages 3 to 9). 

 4. Fireworks Dessert Party at Magic Kingdom

The Magic Kingdom’s Fireworks Dessert Party will be getting a price hike early next year after January 31 2020. The current pricing of $84 for adults and $50 for children will rise to $99 for adults and $59 for children. For Plaza Garden viewing, the current pricing of $69 for adults and $41 for children will go up to $79 for adults, and $47 for children.

5. Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage at Seven Seas Lagoon

This Pirates-themed dessert party which takes place in the Seven Seas Lagoon outside Magic Kingdom and allows guests to meet and interact with Captain Hook, Smee, and Peter Pan and includes snacks, desserts, and of course boatside viewing of the Happily Ever After Fireworks Spectacular and Electric Water Pageant. 

Now through January 31, 2020 this cruise will cost $76.44 per adult (ages 10 and up) and $45.66 per child (ages 3 to 9). However, starting February 1, 2020 this experience will cost $83.83 per adult (ages 10 and up) and $49.87 per child (ages 3 to 9).
