Blown Glass Cinderella Castle

It’s no surprise that Disney offers souvenirs to cater to nearly any taste, but what may still surprise you are the price tags on some of these fine items.

If you have several hundred (or thousand) dollars to drop on your Disney finds, check out these high-priced finds!

1. Blown Glass Figurines

Arribas Brothers, at Downtown Disney, offers an extensive collection of blown glass art. You can even watch the masters at work. While you can get many of the smaller pieces for reasonable prices, this is a great place for a splurge as well. The Cinderella Castle pictured here goes for $2,500.

The glass-encased Evil Queen, pictured above, is $1,200, though the exquisite attention to detail in this piece makes it worth every penny.

2. Crystal Figurines

These sparkling jeweled figurines are an eye-catching addition to any Disney collection. It’s a good thing, too, because even a tiny figure runs between $100 and $200. For the large Genie pictured here, you’ll pay $1,500. If you’re looking for something in the middle of the line, you can snag Sorcerer Mickey or a small Cinderella Castle for just $495. Some of the most extensive collections are available at Arribas Bros at Downtown Disney, but you can find them elsewhere in the parks, too, such as the gift shop in Epcot’s Mexico.

3. Original Artwork

You can get replicas of many great pieces for a great price, but if you’re after the original, be prepared to pay for it. The Sorcerer Mickey painting pictured above is by James Coleman, and titled “Sorcerer Symphony.” The piece sells for $1,095.

Tea with AliceTea with Alice

This “Tea with Alice” original artwork by Michelle St. Laurent has a $4,900 price tag. Original pieces can disappear quickly, so you never know what you’ll find during your visit. If you want to get a big dose of original Disney art while you’re in Orlando, plan to come during Festival of the Masters. This Downtown Disney event is not ticketed, so anyone can show up and browse the booths that feature both Disney-inspired art and many other original pieces including jewelry, sculptures, photography, and paintings.

4. Fine Jewelry

If you’re looking for Mickey jewelry made from the finest materials available, you can get a diamond necklace with the signature Mickey head for $3,000 or $4,000. Other necklaces in the same display go for nearly $8,000. In comparison, a gold bracelet of Mickey heads is a steal at just $2,250. Men looking for a quality keepsake from the jewelry counter can browse fine watches, most of which run between $250 and $500.

5. Miniature Building Replicas

The Art of Disney carries a line of miniature replica buildings that may actually seem cheap in comparison with the rest of the list. If you go out for a full collection, however, you’re sure to spend a few thousand on the set. Current pieces on display include several replicas from Walt Disney World’s Main Street, from the Emporium for $245 to the Train Station for $425. Surprisingly, Cinderella Castle is not the most expensive piece in the set at $395. The smaller Sleeping Beauty Castle from Disneyland is just $295. With over half a dozen pieces to help you create your own miniature Main Street, it’s difficult to choose just one.

If you’re looking for a stunning piece to add to your Disney collection, save up as much as you can before your visit and check out these big ticket items.
