Though we thought that discounts would be sparse this fall due to the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge on August 29th, it looks like the light crowd levels during opening of this land at Disneyland may have made some at Walt Disney World nervous, and as a result we are getting a bunch of new discounts and deals for this fall and winter
If you are thinking about going to a Disney park in the near future (and especially if you are staying on property, an annual passholder or Florida Resident), here are some easy ways you can save some money that you should definitely know about!
1. Free dining deal now available for fall and winter bookings
One of the most popular deals Disney offers is the Free Dining Plan package, which is now available for stays this fall and winter that fall between the following dates:
- September 1 – 18
- November 17- 27
- December 8 – 23
In order to qualify for this deal, guests will need to purchase a minimum 4-night hotel stay that includes a Park Hopper ticket. Guests can get free dining during their entire stay (up to 14 days) as long as your check-in date
Guests staying at select Value and Moderate Resorts will receive the Disney Quick Service Plan, and those staying at select Deluxe and Deluxe Villa Resorts receive the standard Disney Dining Plan. Guests can book now through through September 29, 2019.
2. Fall & Holiday room-only discount now available
Disney has a new fall and holiday offer available for room only stays at the Walt Disney World Resort hotels that allow guests to save up to 20% on rooms at select Disney Resort hotels in late 2019.
- Book through September 29, 2019 for stays most nights September 1 through September 28, 2019; and for stays most Sunday through Thursday nights September 29 through November 7, 2019.
- Book through December 24, 2019 for stays most nights November 10, 2019 through December 24, 2019.
Guests can book this deal now through December 24, 2019 to take advantage of the greatest savings. This offer does not include 3-bedroom villas, Cabins at Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge and Bungalows at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows.
3. Florida resident room only discount now available

Florida Residents can also take advantage of their own Fall and Holiday Room Offer, which allows them to save up to 25% on rooms at select Disney Resort hotels most nights September 1 through December 24, 2019. Here’s the discount breakdown:
- Up to 25% off most Deluxe resort rooms and Deluxe Villa resort rooms
- Up to 20% off most Moderate resort rooms
- Up to 15% off most Value resort rooms
4. Annual passholder room discount now available

Finally, annual passholders can get room-only discounts this fall and winter of up to 30% for stays from September 1 through December 24, 2019. Pricing and savings will vary by resort type and date, but there is no minimum stay with this offer. Here’s the discount breakdown:
- Up to 30% off most Deluxe resort rooms and Deluxe Villa resort rooms
- Up to 25% off most Moderate resort rooms
- Up to 20% off most Value resort rooms
5. New discounted water parks option now available for annual passholders to purchase

Disney has announced a special Summer Splash Pass water park add-on that allows Annual Passholders to enjoy unlimited visits to Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park and Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park from now through Sept. 7, 2019. The cost of this pass is the same as a non-discounted 1-day water park ticket, which is $69 plus tax. This new add-on must be purchased at a ticket window and is not currently for sale online.
