Earlier this week it was announced that Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge favorite Boma would be reopening to the public this weekend after being closed since March 2020. And now it looks like several other buffets will be opening at the resort in just a few weeks.
First up, on August 29, Biergarten Restaurant in the Germany Pavilion at EPCOT will return to serving a buffet-style lunch and dinner instead of family dining. Featured menu items will include Bavarian favorites such as pretzel rolls, bratwurst, spätzle, schnitzel, and a variety of desserts, including apple strudel and black forest rolls.
Then on September 12, The Crystal Palace at Magic Kingdom Park will also switch from family style to buffet lunch and dinner as well. Featured menu items will include Parker House rolls, create-your-own fresh garden salad, seared pork tenderloin, fire-roasted prime rib, braised beef short ribs, and more.
As of right now these are the only three buffets that will be available on property but we’d imagine that in the weeks and months to come Disney will be bringing back even more of their former dining options.
