Key Information
The founder of Drayton Manor theme park, George Bryan, is the son of slot-machine pioneer William Bryan. The park houses a museum dedicated to his creations, built at his factory in Kegworth, Derbyshire from 1920 onwards. Bryan invented nearly 50 new amusement machine designs, and many of these are on show, along with a recreated “inventor’s workshop”. Old-styles pennies can be obtained from an attendant, enabling guests to play with the vintage machines.
